The Wilson Family

Fall is by far my favorite season.  It's a time for football, flannels, hearty dinners with loved ones and pumpkin everything.  It also signifies approaching change and MY OH MY how sweet Ava has changed since her family's last portrait session with me earlier this year.  She seemingly sprouted overnight!  Before you know it, she'll be needing senior portraits O_o *gasp*

In moments like these I'm reminded that being appreciative and mindful, especially of the little things that make up our days, is the closest thing we have to slowing down time.  As we settle into the Fall season and as Thanksgiving approaches, I'd like to encourage each of us to make the effort to take in all there is to be grateful for in this life.  Notice the subtle details – the smiles, the laughs, the hand-holding, the tears, the struggles, the mundane, the sleeping faces, the little feet – and let's watch as time moves us through life at just the perfect pace :)
