I’ve been drawn to art and creativity for as long as I can remember, but photography found me in my late 20’s when I was cast on a television show for a major cable network. Trotting the globe alongside some of the industry’s most seasoned professionals, I learned I didn't just have an interest in photography, but I had a gift for it too.

My very first paid gig was a destination wedding (in Savannah, Georgia) and after that I was hooked. Then I shot about a hundred more weddings and commissioned sessions and realized I also really love my weekends. These days I mostly shoot for myself: European destinations, American towns with character, the kinds of places that make you pull over and get out of the car. And portrait clients when the right project finds me.

My work is rooted in a fascination with historic places and the everyday life unfolding within them. I’m drawn to old streets, enduring architecture, quiet human moments, and the traces people leave behind. My photographs favor atmospheric light, restrained color, and quiet composition. Images intended to evoke the feeling and history of a place rather than simply document it.

When I’m not traveling with a camera in hand or working in my legal career, I’m usually reading, writing, exploring a new creative pursuit, or spending time with my husband and our three dogs, Bear, Tex, and Ellie. I’m endlessly curious about history, spirituality and the metaphysical, people, and the places that stay with us long after we’ve left them.
